Hawkins High School is a public high school located on 15.37 acres in highly urbanized South Los Angeles, serving 2,025 students as part of the largest school construction program in LAUSD history. It is a 4-story facility designed to relieve overcrowding at nearby schools and named after political leader Gus Hawkins.
