Terms of Service
These terms explain how you may use StepScout, what we provide, and where the organizer or source platform remains responsible.
Last updated: April 25, 2026
Acceptance
By using StepScout, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the latest version will be posted here.
What StepScout Provides
StepScout helps people discover dance socials, classes, workshops, festivals, performances, and related events. We gather and summarize event information from public organizer listings and source platforms, then link back to the original source whenever available.
We are not the organizer, host, ticket seller, venue, transportation provider, or safety supervisor for listed events unless we explicitly say otherwise on a specific listing.
Event Information
Event details can change quickly. Dates, times, locations, admission rules, prices, age restrictions, refund policies, accessibility information, and cancellation notices should be confirmed with the organizer or source platform before you attend, travel, or purchase anything.
We may edit, remove, merge, or decline to display listings for accuracy, quality, safety, source compliance, or operational reasons.
Your Responsibilities
Use StepScout lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with the service, scrape it in a way that burdens our systems, bypass access controls, misrepresent your identity, submit malicious code, or use the site to harm other people, organizers, venues, source platforms, or communities.
Third-Party Links and Platforms
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and attribution. Those websites have their own terms, policies, prices, availability, security practices, and content. We are not responsible for third-party transactions, listings, errors, outages, or disputes.
Intellectual Property and Source Requests
StepScout, the site design, code, branding, and original text are owned by us or our licensors. Event content, images, names, logos, and trademarks may belong to organizers, venues, artists, source platforms, or other third parties.
If you own rights in content displayed on StepScout and want it corrected, credited, limited, or removed, contact [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify the listing and review the request.
No Warranties
StepScout is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, current, safe, lawful, accessible, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your plans. Use your own judgment before attending events or relying on any listing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, StepScout and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for losses related to third-party events, venues, organizers, listings, ticketing, travel, cancellations, injuries, or disputes.

Questions, correction requests, and source concerns can be sent to [email protected].
